Jennifer Waugh, Ph.D., LPCC-S, LICDC

Jennifer β€œJen” (she/her) earned her Doctorate of Philosophy in Counselor Education from Kent State University. She has also received her supervisor designation. Jen provides both in-person and telehealth services and has extensive experience in crisis management, working with individuals with disabilities, and supporting clients over the age of 60. She also has over fifteen years of experience working with emerging adults. Jen is most passionate about working with individuals over 40 who are navigating life transitions.

Jen is a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC). She is certified in pet loss grief and is pursuing further grief certifications. Jen is also a Certified Complex Trauma Therapist and has been trained to work with veterans who have experienced trauma. Additionally, Jen teaches graduate courses in diagnosis, evidenced-based treatments, and human development. She has designed a course on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well.

About Jen:

When not at work, Jen enjoys doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She loves British TV and all sorts of music. She has the travel bug and is working to check off as many national parks as she can. Jen has traveled internationally and cannot wait to adventure across more countries. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her two dogs.
